Our Management Team
Dr Diane Leach
Medical Director
Diane is a fellow of the NZ College of Gp’s , she graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1991. She and her cardiologist husband emigrated to NZ in 1996. She worked for a number of years as a paediatric registrar in South Africa prior to coming to NZ and then spent time at Starship Hospital as a registrar. She is part owner of a Papatoetoe general practice where she has worked for the past 25 years. She loves all aspects of general practice and has enjoyed watching her patients grow up and now start their own families, she has a very special interest in looking after the elderly. She is also very involved in women’s health and cardiovascular health assessment and prevention. Outside of work she has 3 boys and a retriever who keep her very busy with all their activities.
Paul Matheson
Head of Finance
Paul joined Third Age Health in 2023 as a Finance Accountant, bringing significant tax and compliance expertise from a Big Four accounting firm. Since then, he has continued to develop his commercial and leadership skills, making a valuable contribution to the business. Now promoted to Head of Finance, Paul is excited to lead the finance team and build on the strong foundations established over recent years. Outside of numbers and spreadsheets, Paul has a diverse range of interests from tramping and playing the piano to exploring new destinations. He also holds a Private Pilot License (PPL) and is an active member of the North Shore Aero Club.
Kath Rawson
Head of Commercial and Business Development
Kath is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the health tech industry. She brings a strong clinical background and a passion for improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Before joining TAH, she was the Senior Client Development Manager at iMedX Australia & New Zealand, leading market expansion and building strong relationships across the public and private sectors. Kath has held leadership roles across strategy, sales, marketing, and business management in digital health, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals, working with global healthcare companies. Kath enjoys time with her husband and three daughters, riding her horse trekking, walking, mountain biking, reading, and watching movies.
Angela Mackenzie
Practice Manager
Angela is dedicated to the practice and has been with the team for five years. She brings over 20 years of health, medical and private practice management experience to the team. Prior to her career in health, Ange worked in banking. She is passionate about delivering the highest level of care to patients and works closely with the team to ensure the practice operates efficiently.Beyond work Ange enjoys the outdoors, sports and spending time with her family. Originally from the South Island, she considers herself a Hawkes Bay local.
Tolita Noel
Clinical Change Lead
Tolita is a Registered Nurse with extensive frontline clinical experience, her hands-on experience delivering patient care has given her a strong understanding of the realities and challenges faced by healthcare teams and communities. She was recently in the UK, and returned to New Zealand in 2024 joining Third Age Health as a Clinical Change Coordinator, leading key initiatives including the national rollout of the clinical portal. Now in her role as Clinical Change Lead, Tolita is passionate about driving meaningful change across the health sector, supporting teams throughout the regions, and improving outcomes for both staff and patients. She is a strong advocate for quality care, equitable access to healthcare, and ensuring services reach and support all communities.
Stephanie Lee
Communications and Engagement Manager
Stephanie is an experienced marketing and communications manager with over 15 years' building brands, developing marketing strategies and executing campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients. Her career started in Public Relations and advertising, which took her to work in global agencies in London. She returned to New Zealand with a view to apply her expertise and passion to the public sector where she’s recently worked in health for Te Whatu Ora, ARPHS and Te Toka Tumai Auckland. Beyond work, Steph enjoys travelling, all things food and spending time with her family.
Jill Skinner
Operations Coordinator - ARC South
Jill brings a wealth of experience in administration, project coordination, and organisational support to Third Age Health. She has worked for a range of organisations across the public sector, and most recently supported aged residential care facilities in the Wellington Region as part of the Te Whatu Ora | Health NZ COVID-19 response. At Third Age Health, Jill works closely with Niomi, our National ARC Practice Manager, to ensure our facilities and clinicians in the Wellington, Taranaki and Christchurch areas are well supported.
Laura Tushingham
Operations Coordinator - ARC North
Laura joined TAH as an Administration Coordinator and has since progressed to the role of Operations Coordinator - Aged Residential Care. She plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation, working closely with patients, facilities, and clinical teams to help ensure everything runs smoothly across the north island. Known for her organised approach and friendly nature, she is passionate about delivering a positive experience and is often a trusted first point of contact. Outside of work, Laura enjoys creative pursuits in the beauty industry and sharing quality time with her family and friends.
